Deliberate Design is Charlie and Kai. Charlie lives in Jersey and builds websites for island businesses: boat trips, trades, shops, cafes and anyone else who needs to be found online. We know the Jersey rules, and we set shops up to take payments here.

Some card providers do not serve Jersey businesses. Our shops take PayPal, which does, so the money goes straight to your own account.

Can we meet in person?
Yes. Charlie lives in Jersey and will come to your business anywhere on the island.
Why is your phone number a UK one?
We work with businesses in Jersey and across the UK, so we use one number that rings both of us. Charlie is on the island either way.
Can my shop take card payments in Jersey?
Yes, through your own PayPal account. Some providers, such as Stripe, do not serve Jersey businesses, so we set Jersey shops up with PayPal from the start.
Which laws apply to my site?
Jersey’s. We write the privacy and terms pages to Jersey law for Jersey businesses, and UK law for UK ones.
Can I have a .je web address?
Yes. A .co.uk is included in the price. A .je costs more to register, so it is at cost, and we tell you the price first.
What does it cost?
£99 then £20 a month for a ready-to-go site or shop. Anything we build for you is quoted per project, fixed before we start.
