Websites for tutors in Jersey
Jersey parents find a tutor through other parents and then look for the details. The site gives them your subjects, your levels, whether you have space and how to get in touch.

Jersey
What matters for your trade here.
A small island of parents who talk
In Jersey a tutor’s name goes round the school gate and the sports club quickly. The site is where a parent who has heard your name checks the practical things: what you teach, GCSE or A level, your availability and what other parents have said. It confirms the recommendation rather than replacing it.
Exam season and the summer
Jersey pupils sit GCSEs and A levels, so the busy time runs from the January mocks to the summer exams, and the summer itself is for catch up and new arrivals. A banner on the site for exam season slots or a summer course is yours to update from your login as the year turns.
Online or in person on the island
Some Jersey tutors teach at the family home in St Saviour or St Brelade, some from their own home, and plenty online. The site says which, with the parishes you travel to if any. Being on the island matters to parents who want to meet you first, so say that too.

Questions
Good to know.
Can parents book a trial lesson through the site?
Yes, either with the bookings add on, which puts the lesson in your own Google Calendar and confirms it to the parent, or with a short enquiry form if you would rather speak first. Nothing about the family is stored on our server.
Can I say which schools I know?
You can say which exam boards and levels you teach to, and that you have taught pupils from island schools. We do not put a school’s name on the site as if they endorse you, because they do not, and on an island that gets noticed.
Does the privacy page cover children’s details?
The privacy page is written to Jersey law and says what you hold and why. If you only take enquiries by form and email, it is short. If you want wording about pupils under 18, tell Charlie and we will go through it with you.
How much does it cost?
£99 for the website, then £20 a month hosting. £119 gets it live: the site plus your first month.
How quickly is it live?
Within 48 hours of payment, on your own web address.
Can I change it later?
Yes. You get your own login to change the words and photos whenever you like, and we make small changes for you when you ask.
