Websites for cafes in Jersey

Websites for cafes and restaurants in Jersey

A Jersey cafe feeds the parish in winter and a changing crowd of visitors all summer. The site has to work for both, and it has to say where you are in a way someone new to the island can follow.

What matters for your trade here.

Visitors search before they walk

People staying in St Brelade, St Aubin or Gorey look for breakfast and lunch on their phones before they set off. A site with your parish, a map link, your hours and your menu as proper text is what brings them to you. Seasonal hours matter: say when you drop to winter opening.

Menus that say Jersey

Jersey Royals, island dairy, fish from the local boats: if it is on your menu, say so on the site. Visitors look for it and locals notice when it is genuine. We write the menu in as text so a search for crab sandwiches or a Sunday roast near them can find you.

Bookings without the diary on the counter

Summer weekends in a Jersey restaurant are about tables, and a cafe in a busy parish can turn away as many as it seats. A booking button that writes straight into your own Google Calendar saves the counter diary and the missed calls, and the details stay in your calendar, not on our server.

Jersey Gaming Hub.

A St Helier gaming centre with online bookings and a shop. A demo we built, not a client.

Jersey Gaming Hub

A gaming centre in St Helier that runs parties, after school clubs, card nights and esports. We built a site that takes the bookings.

Sweet Celebrations

A traditional sweet shop in the Central Market in Jersey, selling online through SumUp. We rebuilt the shop with every product and a page for sweet cart hire.

See your business on a website before you pay a penny.

Tell us what you do and Charlie builds you a free preview on one of our designs. If you like it, it goes live on your own web address for £99 then £20 a month. If you don’t, you owe nothing.

What your website looks like.

The layout

A full width photo of your food, your story on a colour band, then your menu, your opening hours and how to find you, with links to your Facebook and Instagram.

Your photos

Four photo spots, made for the cafe from outside, a plate of food, the counter and your team. Until you add yours, free example photos show you how it looks.

Good to know.

Can the site take card payments for takeaway orders?

Yes, if you want to sell online. Jersey shops on our setup take SumUp or PayPal, because Stripe does not take Jersey businesses. For most cafes a menu and a phone number is enough, and we say that rather than sell you a shop you will not use.

Does the privacy page cover Jersey law?

Yes. For Jersey businesses we write the privacy and terms pages to Jersey law, not the UK versions, and they come with the site. If you take bookings, the privacy page says where those details go.

Can Charlie come and see the place?

Yes. Charlie lives on the island and would rather see the room, the menu and the view than guess from photos. Bring a few photos on your phone and we can pick the best ones on the spot.

How much does it cost?

£99 for the website, then £20 a month hosting. £119 gets it live: the site plus your first month.

How quickly is it live?

Within 48 hours of payment, on your own web address.

Can I change it later?

Yes. You get your own login to change the words and photos whenever you like, and we make small changes for you when you ask.
