Narrow lanes and island roads
Learning in Jersey means green lanes, granite walls close to the wing mirror and a lot of reversing for tractors. Pupils and their parents want someone calm who has taught on those roads for years. Your site says that in your own words, with the parishes you pick up from and the hours you work.
Parents choose, teenagers search
On the island it is often a parent who picks the instructor, from a name heard at the school gate, and the teenager who looks the site up on their phone. The site needs to work for both: reviews and a sensible price list for the parent, pass photos and a book button for the pupil.
New arrivals and adult learners
People move to Jersey for work, and some arrive needing to learn from scratch or wanting a few lessons before driving island roads for the first time. If you take adult learners and refresher lessons, say so plainly on the site. They search in a hurry and want to see it in the first screen.

Good to know.
Can I show pass photos on the site?
Yes. A gallery for pass photos with the certificate is the most convincing thing on an instructor’s site, and you add new ones from your login. We suggest asking each pupil before posting their photo.
Can pupils book lessons online?
Yes. A book button on the site puts lessons into your own Google Calendar and sends the pupil a confirmation. Nothing about the pupil is kept on our server. If you would rather vet every new pupil by phone first, we use an enquiry form instead.
Can Charlie meet me on the island?
Yes. Charlie lives in Jersey and can meet you between lessons wherever suits. You see the whole site as a free preview before you pay anything, and the words are yours to change afterwards.
How much does it cost?
£99 for the website, then £20 a month hosting. £119 gets it live: the site plus your first month.
How quickly is it live?
Within 48 hours of payment, on your own web address.
Can I change it later?
Yes. You get your own login to change the words and photos whenever you like, and we make small changes for you when you ask.
