Mobile mechanic websites: how to get more jobs from Google
A car that will not start is searched for on a phone, in a hurry. What the site needs to win that job.
See the templatesThe short answer: the person searching "mobile mechanic" has a car that will not start, a phone in their hand and no patience. Your site needs your phone number at the top, a quote box, the areas you cover and the jobs you do, and it needs to load fast. Everything else is secondary.
What the search looks like
It is a phone, outside, often early morning. "Mobile mechanic Edinburgh", "car won't start", "brake pads replaced at home". Google shows a map and three businesses. The one with a clear price, a phone number and a review gets the call. Nobody reads a long page in that moment.
What goes on the page
- Phone number and a quote button, top of the page, visible on a phone without scrolling
- The jobs you do: servicing, brakes, batteries, diagnostics, clutches, whatever is true
- Package prices where you can. A fixed price for a full service beats "call for a quote"
- The areas you cover, by name
- Reviews with the customer's name and what you fixed
- A photo of you working and one of the van
A quote box that asks for the registration, the postcode and the problem gets more enquiries than a contact form, because it tells the customer you can give a price from that.
Speed
A site that takes five seconds to load on a phone loses the job to one that takes one. Big photos are the usual cause. Our templates resize every photo and the pages load in under a second.
